Input Video Formats

By default, accepted video formats include mpeg-1 encoded AVI, WMV, ASF and MPEG (MPG) files. However, if additional codecs are already installed on your computer, you may be able to use additional video file formats and encodings. In most cases (but not always), if a video file can be played by Windows Media Player, than the required codec is already installed and this file can be used by Movie Cartoonizer too.

If the codec that is needed to play a video file is not installed, it can be installed later on. There are some free codecs available, for example, K Lite Mega Codec(please note, this is not our product and we do not support it in any way). Attention: occasionally codecs may conflict with each other and other applications.

An easier and safer alternative to codec installation is using a converter to convert video into an accepted format. Most video files can be easily converted to different formats and there are free converters available. We recommend RAD Video Tools
http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm
(please note, this is not our product and we do not support it in any way).

If using RAD Video Tools converter, select the file to be converted, click on "Convert a file", set output file to AVI, uncheck Convert Audio if audio is not needed, click Convert, select a compressor or "Full Frames (Uncompressed)". Attention: Full Frames (Uncompressed) provides better quality and compatibility, but it may produce a very, very large output file.
