Saving and Discarding a Project

Edits to frames are automatically saved every time a new frame is navigated to, so only one frame may be unsaved at a time. To save the edits to the last frame, use the Save button in the right-bottom toolbar or choose File->Save Project from the menu.

Next time the program is started, it will open the saved project. The project is discarded when a new one is created, i.e. when the button Start Movie Conversion is clicked on. Another way to discard a project is to choose File->Clear Project from the menu.

A project in progress creates large temporary files on the hard drive (25MB or more per one 320x240 frame). Once the animation/video is finalized and saved to a file, these temporary files can be removed by selecting File->Clear Project from the menu or alternatively by searching the computer for the "Movie Cartoonizer Default Project" folder and deleting this folder.
