Saving the Result

The preview area is located in the left bottom part of the main window and it may be visible or not visible depending on the sizes of the main window. To make preview visible, increase the sizes of the main program window. Alternatively, for smaller monitors, click on Preview & Save Cartoon to use the separate Save window as preview. Note: in contrast to the preview, the save window does not automatically update when moving to the next frame.

Preview

Both preview and save applies to frames from the first one to the current one. If, for example, 10 frames were converted (one-by-one or in the automatic mode), but after that the Back button was clicked 2 times, the frame #8 becomes current and the preview will show frames from 1 to 8. The playback rate in the preview area is not timed, it may be slower or faster than the actual animation or video.

To save the result animation or video, click on the Preview & Save Cartoon button located under the preview area. This button is visible even if the preview is not visible and it is activated as soon as there is at least one converted frame.

The save window includes several controls. These controls allow setting the sizes of the video (up to the the original movie dimensions and the maximum specified in Options), color contrast, playback speed (with 1 being the same as in the original video) and it is also possible to attach the original soundtrack (not applicable to GIF animation and not available for some input movie formats/encodings).

Save

The Save button on the right enables saving the output as GIF animation or WMV or AVI video. AVI is saved uncompressed to preserve quality and therefore produces large files. WMV is saved in compressed form.
